Mission Statement: The High Star / Sun Eagle International Foundation for Peace was founded to participate in the creation of a peaceful world by promoting and supporting: 1) The HSSE International Sun Dance for Peace 2) Educational and ceremonial events and / or functions that support peace 3) Events that arise naturally out of the community of individuals who have united their efforts at the sun dance to work for peace 4) Any/all opportunities for individuals of all tribes, nationalities, races, religions, and beliefs to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience of peace. |

Aztec Danza
So much gratitude to spirit and Pacha Mama for bringing traditional Danza to Crestone. We've been able to host Danza assemblies at the Crestone Charter School, Mountain Valley School and Haskins Elementary in the San Luis Valley. Paititi Institute is one of the non-profit organizations I have volunteered with since 2012 from retreat coordination in Crestone to spending two months in Peru for their "Embodying Your True Nature". It has been a humbling and fortunate experience for me to be introduced to Native American ceremonies from the Lakota tradition. In 2013, I supported my first Hanbleceya Ceremony (Vision Quest) and since then have participated in Inipi (sweat lodge), Hanbleceya, Yuwipi and Native American Church ceremonies.
